Dennis Gergel - I happened to open this while seated at our local bar. The man beside me was on his way to getting drunk. When he saw "my mail" he thought he was already there.

Scott Thomas - my postmaster loves my mail - says she can spot it a mile away.

Graffiti that said, "All that suicide bombers really want is a hug." was Jeroen's inspiration for this wonderful 9 x 12 envelope. Even the postmaster enjoyed it before handing it to me. I think she wanted to keep it!

Jeroen included these wonderful clippings from the British media with his lovely note. They give a glimpse of how George Junior is perceived internationally. The television caption was my laugh-aloud favorite - how accurate.

The other Mr. Thomas, Scott Thomas from Kentucky, sent me a great surprise which included three hand-decorated jars that go along with a very imaginative story that I will include here soon. These were such fun to open. And now I have crime scene tape to go with the Police Line tape I got from the Los Angeles Morgue. (another long story)

Superb postcard by Laura Barletta. The visual texture is as appealing as the tactile one.

The first one that included one of my pieces...can you find it?

Another beauty from Troy Thomas that held a couple add and pass sheets that should be fun. I will post them later.

Posters for the Traumgebilde/Dream Room 05 Exhibit. I recognized the work of some of my favorite artists on these - Ruud Janssen, Jeroen Teunen, Torben Doose, RF Côté. One of my cards is also included on the poster. I can't wait until the web site is updated after the exhibit. 508 artists from 35 countries created 958 cards...

I really like this piece entitled "Heart of Gold." Oddly It looks a lot like a friend of mine who I hadn't seen in months but saw the day this arrived.

A teacup full of frothy eyeballs from Jeroen.

A terrific collage with artistamps on the reverse.
From humble beginnings as an instant coffee jar, this creative piece came from Scott Thomas in Kentucky. How did he know I needed a genuine "Dark Matter Containment Vessel" along with one of his pieces of "Drawn Steel" His fairy-nymph characters are wonderful. This is the decoration on the top of the lid.

Latuff
Wonderful Artistamps. Near perfection!

Loved every one, and the JR Train stamp brought back great memories of my stay in Tokyo.

Troy Thomas
Fabulous envelope design. I haven't unfolded it fully yet, I want to enjoy it as a container a little longer.

The booty in the envelope from Troy. I have plans for this stuff!

Now I can check out Troy's blog again. A few days I ago glimpsed the headline: Sent to Fat Red Ant, and immediately closed the window. Didn't want to ruin the surprise of experiencing it in the mail!

This piece was folded and taped closed. It wasn't until I read Troy Thomas' blog that I learned that it was meant to be opened. Thanks Tim.

From Jeroen Teunen. Handpainted envelope contained a copy of Teunen's recently published book of mail art: The Postman. Fabulous.
